ReplyDeleteI find inspirations through travel, music, books and by trusting my creative instincts. Many inspirations do come from other artists and friends. There is also so much to learn and discover from our surroundings and nature itself!
ReplyDeleteI get so inspired by everything hehe, I think my mind is constantly looking for inspiration and since I discovered Copics years ago, I am always looking at people's hair and clothing for shading/colouring ideas. I love challenge blogs and looking at the DT creations and challenge winners' cards for creative new ideas. I love card magazines, all my craft goodies give me ideas too. Told you I was inspired by everything hehe. OMGosh to the amazing prizes that can be won, I can never have too many copics!! XOX Lucy

ReplyDeleteI tend to get inspired everywhere but if I am really stuck I spend some time trawling through blogs and videos!
ReplyDeleteI get inspired by photos on Instagram, colours in nature, books and blogs. So much creativity that sparks my own creativity.
ReplyDeleteI get inspired by others - I see their creations and think 'Ill give that a go!' doesn't always turn out so nice as Im still learning my copic colouring, but hey if all else fails give it to the children, they think anything I make is amazing! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing array of art supplies! Art supplies make me want to be artsy, all those colours and mediums. I just want to play, test them out and make something pretty.
ReplyDeleteI'm inspired by the colours, patterns, shapes and textures of nature, from cool clouds, leaves & bark, to dew drops, waves & ripples in the sand. I have several designer blogs that I visit each day for inspiration and techniques, OH, and a crafty challenge is always good to push my limits too!!!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU for the chance to win some CRAFTY AWESOMENESS :)

ReplyDeleteI was thinking that my greatest inspiration comes from sorting through stashes of lace and papers and fabrics and ribbons and bits and pieces!! great fun!!
I\m inspired by the creations of others.
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas on your blog and thanks for the giveaway
ReplyDeleteI get inspiration from a lot of different places including nature, other people's wonderful creations and browsing pinterest or even getting some old craft items I haven't used in a while and just playing :-) Thanks for the blog hop!
ReplyDeleteRight now I am being heavily influenced by Mary Doodles and Emily Wayne Illustration. I am trained as a graphic designer but all I want to do now is draw pictures. I am adding to my marker set bit by bit but OMG I would SOOOOOO give all these the best home ever! I've started a new Facebook page Doodeloly www.facebook.com/doodeloly so all my friends and family can keep up with my Daily Doodle project. I am doing at least one doodle a day Practice makes perfect right?
ReplyDeleteI'm inspired by nature. It's very refreshing to be outdoors and just enjoy those simple things in life.
ReplyDeleteI'm inspired when I create more and also seeing other people's creations :)
ReplyDeleteWhat inspires me - a great question but where do I start. I love looking at great card designers on you tube and card magazines. Now that i have entered blog land and design teams, all the other very talented crafters out there constantly inspire me to do better every time I create a card.
ReplyDeleteWas unable to comment on Robyn's blog, never mind.
ReplyDeleteI am inspired by colours and textures. I love the idea of creating something from nothing
ReplyDeleteI get inspiration from songs; from their beats and lyrics..
I get inspired buy the idea of someone feeling something after looking at my work - making them happy or thoughtful.
I love watching Youtube videos featuring Copic markers being used to colour in The Greeting Farm's characters and Disney's Frozen's characters Anya and Elsa. Lately, I've been sharing these with my 6 year old daughter who loves them. So much so that she's now "blending" her colouring just like in the videos! She inspires me to not limit my creativity to a certain palette but rather to use all the colours to give my creativity life!
ReplyDeleteThe internet inspires me, well not the internet itself but the people that use the internet to share with others their creative ideas. The world has become a much smaller place and with one search I am connected to information on new products, ideas and techniques that all feed my creative soul with fresh inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great hop.
I'm inspired by great colour combinations - which I find all around me; in nature, on the internet, other people's craft, and more recently in museums while travelling overseas. I was so inspired by colour and pattern, particularly in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London; I came home with lots of ideas to create!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't take much to inspire me.... things I see on my daily walk, other art, some little snippet of conversation I overhear, doodling, a texture, poetry, old stuff, etc, etc. So many things to paint....so little time.
ReplyDeleteI get inspired by tumblr! I love going on there and looking at what all is being done with so many fanfictions and I love getting inspiration from them to create my own :)
ReplyDeleteI get inspired by my brother, who always sits with me whenever I feel like drawing or doing something creative and throws ideas, which I pick up
ReplyDeleteOutdoors is a great place to get inspiration from. it's surprising the things you notice when you're out in nature, and can appreciate everything around you
ReplyDeleteI'm fascinated by cars, and back in South Africa I used to paint unfinished cars as a hobby of mine. And so now in NZ when I have spare time love revisiting my old times with cars and drawing and designing new patterns and possible prints. Great hobby of mine

ReplyDeleteI get a lot of my inspiration from my family. Even if I don't make a good piece, they still love it, and see it as something to improve on. Most of my inspiration comes from cleaning my room (well attempting to). I'll see a permanent marker or a coloured pencil that's been misplaced and go "I can create something with that!" Or find an old colouring book in my wardrobe and then I will draw some of the stuff from it. You can get inspiration from so many places. This site is a great option as well. As long as you have patience, you can create anything. Last place where I get my inspiration from is if I am depressed. I started drawing after my dad left, instead of eating. I would eat normally at meal times, but just to take my mind off it, I would draw. And now it's turned into a great hobby!
ReplyDeleteMy son and partner inspire me. My partner made up a story for our son and now I want to write it and illustrate it. It was a good story about friends.
ReplyDeleteI am inspired by things around me, especially bright packaging or interesting objects, but at the moment I am obsessed with perfume bottles... They are all so gorgeous to paint
