We are super excited to announce two new additions to our family of blogs! We are please to announce that Robyn Wood and Teresa Abajo will be joining Edna Morrisedie, Kate Palmer, Kathy Jones and Sharmaine Kruijver on Copic Oz, The X-Press It Blog and of course, Inspiration Lane!
We thought that it would be fun to ask this group of clever ladies a few quick questions, so we can all get to know them a little better...
Designer: Robyn Wood (Queensland)
Tell us a little bit about your
family. Any pets?
My
husband Brian and I have two boys, Josh (19) a keen mountain biker and Chris
(16) a talented musician. Our house is filled with music and way too many
bicycles! We have two canine fur babies
– Zed a whippet and Xena an English Toy Terrier. Now that Zed has learnt not to chew up my brushes,
glue sticks & tubes of paint, he is turning into a brilliant art dog! I
just have to get him out of the habit of ripping up painty paper towel from the
bin.
Where do you look for
inspiration?
It’s
a cross between Instagram and Pinterest.
I follow a bunch of papercraft and mixed media artists on Instagram who
provide daily inspiration. I also follow a great group of bloggers with the Flipboard
app on my iPad – there is always something new to explore.
Who are some of your favourite
YouTubers?
I
enjoy videos Carolyn Dube and Dyan Reaveley – they are always so much fun to
watch! I also love the creativity of
Jennifer McGuire and Donna Downey.
What’s your dream project, if time, money and materials were not a
limitation?
To create an art journal page
every day for a month, using different supplies on each one.
What materials challenge you?
Anything new! I love to get
my hands on the latest ‘new’ materials and spend time playing with them,
learning techniques and limitations and coming up with interesting projects. Colour wise, neutral colours really challenge
me as I’m a ‘colour’ girl!
Do you have any crafty goals?
To have a project or better
an article published in a Stampington magazine.
Being on this team and having an article published in the current
Bespoke magazine have ticked off two big goals so I need to think about some
more!
Designer: Teresa Abajo (Victoria)
Tell us a little bit about your
family. Any pets? I have one husband, three children and one dog called
Max.
What music gets you going? Lounge,
soul, acid jazz, Latin, funk, fusion, classical, opera, Gregorian chants ……my
music tastes are varied and what I have playing will depend on my mood and the
project I have going on.
What's your favourite colour? Oooooh…I’d have to say turquoise today.
What’s your favourite holiday to celebrate? My childrens’ birthdays are the most fun to celebrate these days…..all of the secret preparations, selecting gifts, the cake and the squeals of delight as they experience their moment in the limelight puts a smile on my face.

What’s your dream project, if time, money and materials were
not a limitation? My ultimate aim is to take over the rumpus room and convert
it to a craft space with room for a few friends, a comfy couch and lots of art
on the walls.
Do you have any crafty goals? I would love to develop some
discipline and learn to craft during daylight hours. I hear the light is better
then.

double height entry or living area with one whole wall dedicated to 1m square
canvases, all painted with different mixed medias, all in a pink, red, cream
